Sea life - a major theme of Santa Cruz murals
No surprise...we love our sea! and we love our sea life forms! This is just a partial view of the entire mural down by the Boardwalk. You know what...murals just simply make me happy!
I am an arts major graduate, with emphasis in graphics art. I love artistic expression of ANY kind. I have taken a keen interest in the public art form of murals in Santa Cruz County where I live, having seen so many over the years that are just wonderful. So, I decided to do something about documenting them. I confess, it's a bit for selfish reasons: wanting to preserve this rather transient art form and in this way document a time and space in Santa Cruz County's history.
