Okay, no guessers on the mural location (See May 6th post). I guess that means I'm "up" $30.... Anyway, the mural is located on the side of the Safeway gas station right off State Park Drive exit at Soquel Drive.
I am an arts major graduate, with emphasis in graphics art. I love artistic expression of ANY kind. I have taken a keen interest in the public art form of murals in Santa Cruz County where I live, having seen so many over the years that are just wonderful. So, I decided to do something about documenting them. I confess, it's a bit for selfish reasons: wanting to preserve this rather transient art form and in this way document a time and space in Santa Cruz County's history.
